Reverse Cell Phone Book

by habits on May.26, 2009, under investment

Can you really run a reverse cell phone look up successfully? Some of us are just about through with sites that promise a product or service but don’t deliver. Hopefully this is not the situation with reverse cell phone lookup services.

Phone number lookups should be explained. If you have a residential phone number but don’t have the person the number is registered to or the associated address you can visit a reverse phone lookup site for inquiries. For example phone reverse lookup.

However a problem arises when you want to do a reverse lookup on a cellular phone as the free directories do not contain any such numbers. Not to mention fax numbers can’t be produced either . Do these records exist, and are they free?

Fortunately there are websites that have large databases of cell phone numbers, but they are not free. Of course these services must pay for this information, and go to the considerable trouble of assembling the great variety of resources tied together, and as a result you will be charged a small fee before you can use the reverse number lookup databases.

Along with cell phone lookups there are also corresponding sites which offer access to data such as background checks and background reports, personal databases, bankruptcy searches, liens, public records databases including births, deaths, marriages, divorces and adoptions, sex offender records, police records, and much more. These internet sites run in the same way, extending access to unique types of info for a set fee, nevertheless it should be observed that you will not get access to such information as part of your reverse lookup phone site membership.

The Secret of How to Improve Confidence

by habits on May.26, 2009, under investment

Your natural state is to be confident but if you lack self confidence you need to build it up. With real confidence you don’t need to think or feel it, all you need to do is to go about your business and do what you want to do.

The secret of How to Build Confidence is to be confident is to be comfortable with yourself and who you are, and to have all the skills, knowledge and habits required to do what you want. Life is not a destination, it’s a journey, and you need to feel satisfied with the place you’re at in your journey right now. It’s a journey during which you can expect to learn more, change your priorities and acquire different passions and aspirations. If you’re not changing you’re just standing still. If you’re focusing only on the destination rather than the journey, then you’ll become stressed.

Whatever you choose to do in life will require knowledge, skills and habits. When you have those then you can do those things that are important to you. When you don’t have them you’ll struggle with life and, worse still, you won’t attempt even important things.

Since confidence is a natural state of being, when you lack it, then it becomes an issue.

The gap is what I describe as the difference in your mind between where you believe you are right now and where you believe you should be. Neither of these positions are necessarily realities, they’ve been created, in your mind, by you. The bigger the gap between the two, the more stressed you’re likely to feel, and tension and stress will most certainly undermine your confidence.

Most of us have a stilted view of where we are currently, but this perception can be changed, as can your view of where you want to be. The key is learning to be ‘mindful’ about your daily life so that you become more rooted in the here and now. Rather than slowing you down this process will help to remove distractions and allow you to focus more of your energy on living the life you already have. What’s amazing is that this in itself will boost your confidence.

If you think you’d like to know more about this subject, please visit the Confidence Blog.

Confidence coaching is about helping you bring out this natural confidence with in you. Is is about you, because each of us is different, then what we each need to be confident is different. Read more on How To be Confident.

How to solve a sudoku in two steps

by habits on May.25, 2009, under investment

The Sudoku is an addictive number puzzle game that has become one of the most popular puzzle games ever created. It is played using a 9 x 9 grid that is divided into nine equal boxes. The objective of the puzzle is to place the numbers from 1 to 9. Each number must appear only once in every row, column and box.

For beginners, here are two steps which can be helpful in solving the sudoku. Be sure to follow each step carefully and correctly to have a better chance of solving the puzzle.

First step is to look for single choices. Single choices may be found by counting the numbers given in a row, the intersecting column and the box where the row and column intersect. If the row, column and box have eight of the numbers from 1 to 9, the cell common to both the row and the column is the only place the ninth number may go. Another way to find single choices is to take a given number in a row and look for the same number in the next box. If the number is missing, the right place will be on either of the two rows. Check the two other rows for the same number. If you end up with only one cell available for your number, this is also a single choice.

Second step is similar to step one, but this time do the columns.

When done with the columns do step one again, but this time focus on the new numbers you have placed. If you end up with unsolved cells with this two-step approach you need more advanced sudoku solving strategies.

Picking a Real Estate Agent

by habits on May.24, 2009, under investment

The ideal agent is not always the one with the most sales under his or her belt, or the most years on the job. The ideal agent is one who listens to you, is easy to get along with, and has the tools and skills to address your unique situation.

Every home buyer is different. Some have credit issues. Some are buying from out of state. Some need help selling their current home in addition to buying a new one. Just as buyers have different needs; real estate agents have different skills and specialties.

Here’s how to find the agent who’s right for you:

1. Check out Directories Real Estate Agents & Brokers Directory services are a great place to start your search.

2. Talk to multiple agents. I once saw a statistic that 84% of home buyers choose the first real estate agent they contact. This means one of two things. Either most people are choosing wisely the first time, or they’re just rushing into things without shopping around; probably a little of both. You don’t have to exhaust yourself interviewing agent after agent, but at least talk with two or three to see who you’re most comfortable with (which leads to the next point).

3. Consider the ‘feel’. Professional expertise is an important criterion when choosing a real estate agent. But interpersonal skills are equally important. After all, you’ll be working with this person anywhere from 2 to 12 months, so it helps to get along with them. We all have unique personalities, and that’s the way it should be. When working with someone professionally, it helps if their personality “meshes” well with your own.

4. Ask how they search for homes. When deciding on a real estate agent, ask how they search for homes. Some agents have their own preferred listings that they favor. But you want what’s best for you, not what’s best for your agent. You’re paying them, right? So make sure the agent is willing to search high and low to find the best home for you. That includes using the Multiple Listing Service (MLS) as well as their own personal network.

5. Read paperwork carefully. This advice is heavily used for a reason. It’s critical that you examine all documents during the home buying process, and that includes your agent agreement. At some point during the relationship, your agent will probably ask you to sign an agent agreement. Basically, it just means that if the agent shows you a particular property, your purchase of the property should be credited to that agent. In most cases it’s a simple, just be sure to read it carefully and ask questions.

6. Ask friends and family for agent referrals. Nobody knows you as well as your friends and family do. So they’re often in the best position to recommend an agent who is well-suited for your needs. You can also trust a referral from friends or family more than one that comes from a stranger.

Low-fat cooking - Instead of frying; try boiling, broiling, baking, grilling or steaming your food. If you do fry then use less oil and use a non-stick frying pan. Don’t pour without measuring; in this way you’ll keep a note of how much you’re using. Choose good fats such as those in canola and olive oil. Avoid frying in butter instead go for fish oils.

Alternatives - Instead of taking snacks like chips and cakes, eat fruits between your meals to curb hunger. Use low fat yoghurt for salad dressings instead of cream or mayonnaise. Replace milk chocolates with dark chocolates and consume skimmed milk rather than plain milk. Use egg whites instead of whole egg. Use margarine instead of creams and eat low-fat muffins instead of donuts. Use salsa instead of salad dressings. Try topping your popcorns with honey instead of melted butter. Eat fresh food and avoid processed ones as they are high in salt content. Avoid going to fast food places as they only provide you with food high in fat content.

Proteins - Red meats are high in fats but rich in protein and nutrition. Lower their consumption and ensure to consume leaner meat. Avoid processed red meat and grill your beef rather than frying. White meat is lower in fat content. Just remember to not to eat the skin and avoid frying the meat. Fish is very healthy and even lower in fat content. Steam, bake or grill your fish and avoid frying it.

You may even replace your choices of beef and white meat in spaghetti by adding lentils in it. They offer not only a great taste but are rich in proteins and lower in fat content.

Vegetables - Vegetables are an excellent choice of food. Add more of vegetables in your food selection and do not over cook them and you may even eat them raw. Don’t ruin their low fat quality by adding creams and cheese for toppings.

Architect and Town Planner- Van Eesteren

by habits on May.24, 2009, under investment

Cornelius Van Eesteren was a Dutch Modernist architect and town planner. Van Eesteren came from a family of building contractors in N Holland. Following a conventional secondary education, some drawing lessons and a short spell as a carpenter’s apprentice, he turned his attention to architecture and in 1915 joined the practice of Willem Kromhout in Rotterdam.

Two years later he gained his architectural diploma from the Rotterdam Academy of Fine Arts and Technical Sciences. He studied at the Hoger Bouwkunstonderwijs in Amsterdam (1919-22) and won the Prix de Rome, which enabled him to visit Germany in 1922 to study brick architecture. He also spent some time at the Bauhaus in Weimar, where he met one of the famous architects - Theo Van Doesburg, a leading figure in the Dutch De Stijl movement, which was strongly influenced by the principles of Cubism.

In 1923 Van Eesteren worked in Paris with Van Doesburg and met the painter Piet Mondrian. Together they formulated the architectonic principles of Neo-Plastics. From 1924 to 1927 Van Eesteren worked under Jan Wils and continued his studies in town-planning. By 1929 he had become chief architect in the town-planning department in the City of Amsterdam, supervising the development of the city for the next fifty years.

Van Eesteren based much of his work on a plan by Berlage prepared in 1917, which he revised and enlarged in accordance with extensive research. He was one of the first planners to analyse the development of a city, and use this information to predict future needs. From 1930 to 1947 he was president of CIAM and professor of town-planning at the Technical University in Delft 1947-67.

It Is Easy to Make Money With Good Paying Surveys!

by habits on May.23, 2009, under investment

Want to get paid more? O.K. Why not get paid to take surveys?

One easy way to start an independent extra income stream for yourself is to join the many thousands who take paid surveys. If you are 18 or over, a consumer (if you eat, you’re a consumer!) and have enough computer skills to be able to send and receive e-mails.

You see, most large companies have no real contact with consumers, the people who ultimately decide whether to buy their products or someone else’s. Just go into a supermarket and look around. Thousands of products from thousands of big companies, none of which are there!

And the MUST KNOW what consumers think and prefer. They have to know this to design new products, improve old products and know which advertising campaigns are working and which are not!

The only way to get people to take the time to sit down and fill out survey questionnaires is to pay them! Typical surveys pay $10 to $25 and take 7 to 18 minutes to fill out. Take a $10 and a $25 survey a day and you’ll make over $1,000 in a month!

That’s how you can receive extra cash by taking good legitimate paid surveys!

Getting money for surveys can be your route to extra spending money.

Call this recent Flu whatever you want; Mexican flu 2009, or H1N1 virus it is a growing outbreak

by habits on May.23, 2009, under investment

It does not matter how you call the epidemic; Mexican flu, or Novel flu; it will not affect what harm this infection will have on the human population.

For simplistic purposes keeping with the regular pattern the world has been using we will call this new strain the Mexican flu the same way that these flu epidemics have taken on a locality name such as Spanish Flu, Asian Flu, Hong Kong flu and so on.

With the global spread of the Mexican flu and fatalities in two countries in the same region, the World Health Organization has raised the phase alert to pandemic level five. This level indicates that this organization believes the growth of the Mexican flu to infect the world is imminent.

For your safety you should read the following W.H.O. Checklist:
World Health Organization (W.H.O.)
Department of Communicable Disease
Surveillance and Response
Global Influenza Programme
WHO checklist for influenza pandemic preparedness planning.  Starts out with “Some time in the future.”  (Note: that some time is now!)

In a Presidential News Conference regarding the Mexican Flu, April 29, the president is asked “if the we should close the border?”  President Obama says, “Wash your hands, take precautions but because this is a new strain we have to be cautious, but not to panic.”  He does not think we should close the border.

An agent who was on the security advance team for President Obama’s recent trip to Mexico is suspected of having contracted the Mexican flu and he passed it on to his family in Anne Arundel County, MD.  The man is on the staff of Energy Secretary Steven Chu, who traveled with Obama to Mexico on April 16. He appears to have transmitted the virus to his wife, son and nephew, press secretary Robert Gibbs said.

Just the talk about and inability to agree on how to properly call the pandemic of the Mexican flu 2009 indicates that even this little item will cause controversy around the globe today.  The hardest part of the Mexican flu of 2009 is still ahead of us.  We hope that the governments of the world get their acts together and concentrate on what is important, saving human lives.
