How Relevant Is Your Content To Your Target Audience?

by on Nov.24, 2009, under investment

I find it very interesting as I surf the web checking out marketing strategies of other business owners, I do this from time to time to get an idea of what works and what doesn’t. It’s also a great way to tweak my marketing strategies and learn from successful business owners online. I’ve come across some great ideas which have really helped me a lot with my business. And I’ve also come across some really bad content out there, mainly having to do with relevancy to target audiences and niche markets.

When you think about it writing for your target audience is just a matter of giving your market what they want that’s it pure and simple. You could never sell a steak to a group of vegetarians so why would you write a meat lovers article targeted towards vegetarians, I actually saw an article like this it totally blew my mind. And it was kind of funny because the author didn’t have a clue to why so many negative comments were left on his blog post.

Writing relevant content is also a great way to please the search engines, because the major search engines know that when a searcher types in a keyword or keyword phrase in order for searcher to have a pleasant search experience the results that come back better be relevant to what they were searching for. If you stay relevant by providing timely content on a consistent basis for what your market is looking for you will never go wrong when it comes to pleasing the search engines and humans as well, this is Kevin Thomas hope you enjoyed this relevant content.

Purchasing Kauai Real Estate – Your Own Heaven on Earth

by on Nov.24, 2009, under investment

For anyone looking at buying property in Hawaii, especially on the island of Kauai, there are numerous areas that hold wonders many tourists never take the time to see. So, to help you in finding outstanding Kauai real estate, here are six locations in Kauai that you have to see to believe:

The Alakai Wilderness Preserve: This area of Kauai sounds like the last place heaven would be, yet it is precisely what paradise is to many people. Although the locals refer to it as ‘Alaka’i swamp’ it is not a swamp, but a natural preserve of bog land. These bogs are great to hike at any time, and were created by their proximity to Mount Wai’ale’ale, which is one of the wettest places on earth. If you enjoy nature then this is a great place to explore and ‘discover’ for yourself the rare plants and birds that live here.

Hanalei Bay: While this is the biggest bay on the North Shore of Kauai, it’s also one of the most beautiful beaches to be found anywhere. Hanalei’s soft sandy beaches are surrounded by beautiful green mountains making it a picture perfect place to call home. And, for those that love the convenience of a town close by, the quaint town of Hanalei sits right in the middle of the bay.

Ke’e Beach: This is the ideal area for a vacation home. It offers some the best unspoiled real estate on the island, and if you have children and love swimming and snorkeling, then this is about the best Kauai real estate you could purchase. The water is clear and quiet, with few currents and next to no waves. The climate is fabulous here on the Na Pali coastline, and you couldn’t ask for more if you want solitude and peace away from the city. There is some great land around here to buy for a fabulous vacation home.

Limahuli Garden and Preserve: Love a good hike through some of the most spectacular gardens and nature preserves that Hawaii has to offer? The Limahuli Garden and Preserve offers just that. With awards such as the best natural botanical garden in the US and the top award from the Hawaii Tourism Authority, who could ask for a better place to enjoy the day, some photography, or just a walk in the Hawaiian sunshine? Want to find some Kauai real estate near this beautiful park? You won’t have a problem here, and there are a number of local-area Realtors who will help you.

Wailua River State Park: If you like canoeing and kayaking and any other form of water sport, then this is the place for you. Kauai real estate offered here is mainly residential and surrounds the park. The scenery is magnificent, with features such as the 150-foot astounding Opaeka’a Falls that is simply breathtaking. If you buy real estate here you are committed to natural beauty and water sports that will turn any visitor to your home green with envy.

Waimea Canyon State Park: Have you ever wished you could own real estate on the Galapagos Islands? Or perhaps around the Grand Canyon? Wouldn’t that be a thing to have? Yet if you purchase some Kauai Real Estate you have the next best thing – or even better. The Waimea Canyon was likened to the Grand Canyon by Mark Twain, only the Kauai version isn’t as deep. It is, however ‘Grander’. It has a volcano smack bang in the middle of it, and is more awe-inspiring. It is filled with trees, and deserving its comparison with the Galapagos, contains flowers and rare bird species found only on Kauai. It might also contain unique animals and insects, only they haven’t been discovered yet. Perhaps you could discover them and even put your name to them if you had some real estate here.

So there you are. The six most attractive sites offering Kauai real estate that you could find. Perhaps they don’t suit you, but you will look far and hard to find anywhere offering the same degree of natural beauty anywhere in the world.

Visit GreatHawaiiRealEstate.com to find great Hawaii homes for sale, Big Island homes for sale and Maui homes for sale.

Can Sea Eagle Inflatable Watercraft Stack Up Against The Rest?

by on Nov.24, 2009, under investment

Sea Eagle Inflatable Boats introduced their inflatable boats to the United States in 1968. *BLANK* In order to stay ahead of the competition, Sea Eagle made their inflatable boats to be reasonably priced – not too cheap like simpler inflatable rafts, but not nearly as expensive as the powerboats being produced by Zodiac. Since their origination over forty years ago, their products have broadened to include small kayaks all the way up to motor boats as big as dinghys. Even among the current competition, Sea Eagle stands out amongst most others in the same market.

All you need to see to show that Sea Eagle manufactures choice products is a comparison to the other brands within the same market. For instance, Sea Eagle uses a 33mm polykrylar fabric on the outside of their crafts. This cloth is extremely durable as well as abrasion- and puncture-resistant thanks to high frequency welding. If damage does occur, repair is fairly quick and painless. Because these boats are inflatable, you can rest assured that should you experience impact against potentially destructive objects, the hull will give around the object and then quickly regain its shape afterward. This safety feature is especially valuable when white water rafting or participating in other rugged water sports. And what’s finer is that the construction of these water crafts make it sound even for children to operate.

You can purchase Sea Eagle inflatable motor boats in a variety of hull configurations and sizes. Their kayaks are offered in two separate models. The first is the Sport model, which is short, and the second is the Explorer model, which is longer. For those who are looking for a kayak to navigate whitewater rapids, the Sport model is ideal as it is made specifically for this type of outing. The Explorer model, on the other hand, is more steady and speedy for sea-faring.

Besides kayaks, Sea Eagle has also produced catamaran-style crafts. One of these models folds up and advertises platform seating. This catamaran, which echoes a small bass boat, has the capacity to hold a trolling motor for easy maneuvering. This inflatable boat is ideal for angling and/or casting in water that may otherwise be impervious. And it is so light weight that you will never necessitate a trailer or ramp to aid you in loading it. The other model of inflatable catamaran is a sailboat. These watercrafts glide freely across the water with the help of a small mast.

The other boat models manufactured by Sea Eagle consist generally of various styles of dinghys. All of the hulls are horseshoe shaped and inflatable, and contain strong, sturdy transoms for use with or without a motor. The larger of these models have been equipped with small outboards, ideal for use as a rowboat on larger vessels such as yachts, and/or in sheltered waters. They are available at low prices, with or without motors, and range from 8 to 12 feet in length which makes these inflatable watercrafts an positive acquisition for the casual fishermen or water-farer.

by on Nov.23, 2009, under investment

When it comes to traveling, the easiest way to get to destinations many miles away is by plane. Flying allows you to travel in a much shorter time and allows you to get to destinations you may not be able to travel to by car or train. The problem is plane tickets can often be pricey.

It is possible to find low-cost airfare, but you often have to forfeit many of the comforts of travel. First off, you will most likely have to settle for less than desired times for arrival and departure. Second you may not have the best seat choice. Even if you are able to get a aisle or window seat, the economical seats will often be crammed and provide modest room to unwind. Don’t worry though, it is still feasible to find cheap business class airfare.

So what are your options if you want to travel cheaply, but want the perks that first and business class travelers get? The answer is you travel first or business class.

Just because you are only finding coach class seats on the well known discount travel websites, it does not mean that business and first class seats aren’t available. They are available to people just like you, if you know the secrets to getting them. The secrets and techniques are available and very well for booking cheap business class airfare

Secret tips have been used for years that originated from former employees in the airline business. These workers exposed the secrets of who to call, when to call, when to book and what to say, in order to get the best priced seats and best seat available when traveling.

This is what happened in the airline business. Several former employed workers who used to reserve flights for customers were fired and as their payback they decided to let everyone know how to get low-priced airfare. They showed it all, including what to say, who to call and when to call. Thanks to them, the airlines are still selling tickets in first and business class, but they are selling them for a similar price people used to pay to fly coach. Find out about preventing the development of type 2 diabetes

by on Nov.22, 2009, under investment

Diabetes is more rampant than ever and ninety five% of cases found are type 2 diabetes. Although for some the advance of diabetes is unavoidable, perhaps because of heriditery and alternative factors, for the overwhelming majority it can be prevented by taking these 7 straightforward steps…Before diabetes sort two becomes fully developed you go through a stage referred to as pre-diabetes. This is often where you start to show a number of the symptoms, which if ignored, can lead to full blown diabetes.

Make these 7 actions in your daily routine and you might stop this disease from happening to you:

1) If you are obese you risk developing diabetes. Scale back the amount of food on your plate so you slowly eat less and start to lose weight. Drink a glass of plain water or a sugar-free drink before your meal to require the intensity of any hunger pains.

2) Reduce the amount of fat you are eating; grill or bake foods instead of frying; use low-fat spreads and reduced fat meals.

3) Be aware of the Glycemic Index of the food you are eating – being aware of what each food has helps maintain your blood-sugars, which in turn can forestall the full onset of diabetes.

4) Drink at least 8 glasses of water every day. If you keep a bottle of water with you and sip frequently you may be shocked how much you do drink throughout the day.

5) If you are feeling peckish select a healthy snack instead of a chocolate bar.

6) Use skimmed instead of full-fat milk in hot drinks.

7) Working out is excellent for health. However if you are not use to working out then begin in moderation. 15 minutes light walking every day will ease you into a regular exercising pattern.

All of these activities are also those that diabetics are suggested to take – if you’re taking them now you would possibly possibly forestall permanent harm to your wellbeing.

Social Networks – An Addiction

by on Nov.22, 2009, under investment

Having spent most of the morning, and most mornings, staring at Facebook and updating my MySpace, I can accept that social networks are addicting and can dissipate hours and hours in a day. I can also go back to when I was working a normal office job and most of the day was spent checking who what, and updating my own status messages aware that my fellow co-workers and mates outside the company were also online, checking it like it was the stock exchange. Every now and then I get replies from acquaintances I haven’t spoken to in years or who I almost don’t remember, in addition to the regular circle of contacts who regularly check each other’s updates as if it was their [job|duty} to do so.

Psychiatrists go as far as saying that today people amplify their own identities through their online presences. In other words, Facebook and MySpace have become a sense of who we actually are as people. I guess this is real, as it is a place we decide what others see, and have no trouble allowing people all around the globe watch in order to get updates as to who we are and what we are doing. However there are those who spend in excess of 30-40 hours on the internet a week on such sites, and they are addicts. People have looked to the internet to replace other recreational sources of their lives. Unfortunately for many of today’s youth, this means a fall in physical activity, and for grown-ups it can mean a drop in social conversation with their acquaintances and/or family.

They say the chance creates the criminal,’ but in this situation, ‘social networks inspire the spy.’ The amount of material one can come across on another individual makes it simple to follow their every move. Yes it is that person, who posts photos and approves being tagged in others, as well as making public personal details, but others also advertises on walls and those messages are [public|open} but may not be pre-approved by the member before they go up. People quickly get dependent on following someone once they find someone else is posting on their wall, or that they have posted new pictures. Tabbed browsing, email alerts, and cell phone applications, all serve the social network dependent, making it [easier|more conceivable} for them to repeatedly be looking at their profiles and others’ as well. Experts advise setting time rules, and basically practicing self discipline against repeatedly checking or signing up for email notifications, and not to install mobile apps for the social networks.

Forex trading has become very popular because it is highly profitable if you follow the rules and teach yourself. Without the right knowledge it is hard to understand the rules of forex. It is not that difficult to learn forex trading online.

There are a lot of Forex Apocalypse Review that can be helpful for your education. Some are not that good because they offer poor training tutorials or old fashioned trading systems. But what has a good course to offer if you want to learn forex trading online.

1. A good customer service. If you have a question they have to answer quick and without big delay.

2. Good training tutorials like ebooks, videos, telephone meetings and live trading sessions would be helpful. Not all is necessary if the training material is great.

3. 1 to 1 training is one of the most valuable training methods you can have. If you have the chance to do a 1 to 1 training by phone or online do it. I think there is nothing better to serve your needs.

Important Information When Deciding On A Steel Building Construction

by on Nov.21, 2009, under investment

If you are expanding your current retail or commercial location or building a new facility like a farm and ranch building, choosing metal for the construction of the building saves you the most money because it is cheaper than conventional construction methods, provides a safer building when completed, and the building systems offer a variety of design choices. In fact, for these reasons (and more) metal buildings now dominate the one and two-story building markets, as cited by architects, engineers and owners across the world. Investigate for yourself the reasons why building with metal can be good for you as well.

Most metal companies comply with customer’s design requests presenting you with endless options. For example, the exterior of the building may be enhanced using a variety of finishing materials, such as decorative brick, wood, stucco, glass, and aggregate panels, in order to match the look of existing buildings, meet local zoning requirements, as well as eye-catching to attract customers. With open span interior space and high ceilings, a metal building offers your tenants such a variety of configurations and layout options for the interior, as well. For example, your needs may include rows and rows of merchandise, an office environment filled with cubicles, conference rooms, and mechanical equipment, or a restaurant filled with tables, comfortable seating and kitchen space. A metal building construction can be efficiently and easily modified to suit your tenets’ changing needs—be it an increase in personnel or a shrinking storage capacity. Building expansion is simple and easier because metal buildings are designed with growth and your budget in mind. From the inside to the outside, your project manager can help you achieve the look you want in the most economical way possible. But be sure to choose the right metal building erector.

Using metal in your construction can help you design an attractive retail building within your projected budget. Consider just a few reasons. To begin with, it will help prevent many of the problems and maintenance issues that are associated with low-quality buildings. Many types of retail buildings begin to deteriorate over time. Since metal is highly resistant to water, mold, mildew, termites and other wood-destroying insects, a metal retail building will last longer and require less maintenance than many other types of retail buildings which saves you money! Also, because sometimes a business needs a new building under a strict deadline, metal buildings offer the magnificent benefit of being pre-drilled, pre-welded, and pre-punched at the plant giving you a structure that is quickly and easily erected so your tenants can move in, open their business and promptly begin adding to your profits. Constructing a new retail building can be very expensive; but, using a retail metal building system has proven to save up to half the cost (depending on the supplier you choose) compared to similar buildings designed using conventional construction methods.

Metal buildings do not require any harmful chemicals such as resin, adhesives, wood treatments, or pesticides. Also, a retail/commercial building made entirely out of metal has added strength and durability to increase the structural integrity. As a result, metal retail buildings are resistant to major damages that are caused by high winds and adverse weather conditions. Metal buildings may also be designed to meet and surpass your local building codes regarding wind and snow loads. Customers in the Mid-West and Gulf Coast regions will have added security for their property. (Nevertheless, it is still highly recommended to evacuate during an approaching hurricane.) Many building systems use wood framing, making it vulnerable to fire and difficult to extinguish. Since metal does not burn as quickly as wood, the fire may spread slower, making the environment safer. When a fire occurs in a metal building, it is often possible to contain the fire to a single room. As a result, personnel and customers, not to mention valuable merchandise, equipment, and company files, are well protected in a metal building; and interruption of business operations can be kept to a minimum.

A metal building is indeed the most practical and economical as it will save money, provide a stronger structure, and more choice for interior planning and exterior beauty. The finished product will easily accommodate a retail environment, office space, a restaurant, warehouse facility, or any other type of business operations. Satisfied customers everywhere attest to the magnificent benefits of having their retail or commercial building built with metal. Why take chances with your real estate investment? Choose the design that provides a lifetime of benefits.

Office Refurbishment Ideas for Productive Employees

by on Nov.21, 2009, under investment

Introduction

A vast number of people work in offices of one kind or another. They may be offices in buildings purpose built or attached to a factory or in business premises. For many self employed business people the office is a room in their home converted for that purpose. Solicitors, doctors, estate agents and insurance agents, in fact any business that you can think of, works from some kind of office or another. You might even say 80% of the adult population work in an office. But I wonder how many of those people have any say in what kind of office they have and whether or not it suits their requirements. Mostly when someone new joins a company or firm, they are given a space for their office usually left by the previous incumbent. I suspect that if you asked occupants how they would like their office to be they would find it difficult to tell you.

When you think of the number of hours we spend in an office, at least eight hours per day and sometimes up to sixteen hours if it’s a busy period. Yes people are allowed out for breaks and rest times, but it is an awful lot of your life cooped up in small space. If at least a third of one’s working life is to be spent in an office, then it makes logical sense to ensure the environment is as comfortable, pleasant and as healthy as possible.

So how much thought goes into the planning of workspaces?

Where a building is purpose built such as an office, then the architects I am sure will have created good designs to suit the purpose. However, it has been known for new buildings to be problematic for the people working it them. For instance, synthetic materials used for carpeting can sometimes give off toxic fumes which cause allergies or illness of the staff. Air conditioning that relies on recycled air has the potential to carry bugs that can lay the whole office off at the same time. So there are many factors to consider in creating an office environment to ensure the staff are productive, creative, energised and remain healthy.

Old buildings, originally built for other uses, when converted to office space will have different challenges to resolve. Often old buildings have very high ceilings where the heat rises up so that the inhabitants below are cold yet the heating bills are going through the roof, literally!! How to maximise the space available to provide a comfortable working environment will be a real challenge and this is where often the use of a mezzanine floor and suspended ceilings are valuable.

It is a well known fact for any establishment that happy workers give better performance and generate more revenue than unhappy workers. The workforce are more motivated, creative, helpful and have less time off work for illness if they are happy in their jobs. I am sure there are statistics available for these details, stating the benefits of looking out for your employees well being at work, but more than that there are now strict legislation regarding the amount and type of working space employers must provide. By using skilled interior fit out specialists you can make sure your offices conform to the current standards.

Ergonomics

Ergonomics is the study of workplaces and the equipment used, to achieve the best design for comfort, safety, efficiency, and productivity. Research has been carried out over the last few years at Nottingham University on office space allocation issues.

Workspace planning is fast becoming a specialist industry because of all of the current regulations and legislation. Formerly known, in the UK as the Factories Act and now known as the Health and Safety Executive regulations are in place to ensure that employees have sufficient working space in which to perform their work. This can be a potential minefield including such things as physical space, usable space, corridor spaces, and minimum light and ventilation regulations. If you are about to commence on an office refurbishment project ensure that your interior fit out specialists of conversant with all of these regulations before you engage them to perform your work.

What are the Criteria for a good office environment? We are sentient beings, which mean we resonate with feeling and perception as well as intellectually to our surrounding.

Seeing

The first thing to consider when commencing an office refurbishment project is how does it look? The initial impact on us comes from what we see. The decor and arrangement of furniture, the window aspect and lighting are important in our perception of whether or not it is pleasing to the eye. Does the office have all the necessary equipment, computer, phone and sufficient storage for files and books etc? Plants create a sense of balance in the space as long as they are discreetly positioned and don’t make it look cluttered. Plants are oxygen generators and help to refresh the air.

Smell

On entering a new place the first thing we take in is the smell whether we pay attention to it or not. We notice immediately if the air is stuffy or if there is an unpleasant smell such as sweaty bodies. However a pleasant fragrance or no smell at all will be inviting. Baker shops nearly always pump out the fresh smell of baked bread into the street to entice people in to buy the goods. So although we may not be aware that smell plays an important part in our responses, we are still animals and we do use our olfactory senses a great deal more that we realise.

Feel touch

How does the furniture feel? Plastic seats can be very uncomfortable to sit on for a long time. Plastic does not breathe, it draws moisture from the skin so that when you stand up your posterior will be damp and uncomfortable. Padded fabric is warmer than leather for comfort and not as expensive. The desk chair needs to be the correct height for desk and give suitable support, a computer needs to be set correctly to avoid neck and wrist strain of the operator.

The temperature in the environment is best if it’s not too warm and not too cold. Office refurbishment work will also include plans for temperature control to keep the temperature at 21 degrees C as this is the best working temperature.

Too warm and we become sluggish and sleepy, too cold and we become distracted and use up valuable energy keeping warm. Fresh air is also beneficial to stimulate the brain cells.

Sound Hear

What can we hear? Is it noisy or quiet? When I was first starting out in business, I went to visit a local manufacturing company to learn about the way they managed their business. At lunch time I was taken into the executive dining area where there was a waitress service and we had a very civilised lunch. Later I was taken to the works canteen. When we walked in I was hit with a blast of noise such as I had never experienced before. The hall was large with a very high ceiling and nothing to damp down the echo. The result was that everyone ended up shouting to be heard and there was loud music playing as well. I was shocked, not just at the noise level but by the contrast between the executive dining room and the workers canteen. I had come from an environment which treated all members of the company the same so there were no executive areas and everyone, high and low mingled together for meals and break times. Guess which company had the better worker relationships and higher output?

Where a company utilises an open plan office then noise levels can be very distracting and one solution is to incorporate ‘White Noise’ which is a low level background noise to interfere with the general office talk going on over the phone or mini meetings. Sometimes quiet relaxing music is introduced as background noise but this is not normal in a business place.

Taste

Well we are not going to go around licking the furniture, but another important consideration is to ensure that a there is an area to enjoy a nice coffee or tea away from the desk throughout the day. So is there a pleasant area for making drinks and preparing snacks, or even lunch facilities alongside the office. I once worked in an office where they had a small kitchen area off the main office for making drinks and snacks and there was always a bowl of fresh fruit for workforce, as the company recognising the refreshing effects of fresh fruit.

Workspace planning

So as you can see there are many things that can make the work environment a nice place to be. However getting the original layout and size of spaces for the employees is a complex process.

How much room does each individual need to work in? According to the Officewise publication from the Health and Safety Executive in the UK employers must provide a minimum of 11 cubic metres for each person permanently occupying a workplace. However there are all sorts of exceptions and caveats to this rule, such as making sure the space is usable space, and clearly if that space were under the stairs with no windows, or ventilation then it would not be suitable. So it is very important to ensure that your new office fit out adheres to all of the current legislation with regards to workspace laws.

An experienced industrial fit out specialist will usually install a suspended ceiling which makes the installation of services easier and more less expensive. Electrical supply, air conditioning units, water pipes and telephone cables can all run behind the suspended ceiling making access easy if anything goes wrong and repairs need to be implemented.

Positioning of the electrical and telephone outlet is also critical. The computers used in offices today all require their own electrical supply even if they are networked with the system.

Outside light from windows is a requirement for offices. The days of the cupboard office cubbyhole are gone. Light airy spaces make people feel good and doses of sunshine each day lift our spirits. However too much sunshine will overheat an office so the use of vertical blinds is recommended to deflect the rays of the sun without reducing too much the level of illumination.

Costs

To save on office space costs some industrial fit our specialists have come up with the idea that instead of having a board rooms for meetings they have their meeting standing up around a special tall coffee table. This reduces the amount of time spent in meetings and the space is reusable for the lunches. Other schemes encourage employees to work from home for part of a week and utilise a system of desk sharing or moveable desks.

Reconfigurable spaces

Another way of economising on the cost of office space is by careful rearrangement of the existing floor area. There may be dead areas which could be released and turned into useable space. The installation of new interior partition walls can rearrange the existing space to create a friendlier working environment. Sometimes working in an open plan office is beneficial for communication between staff, other times it is a distraction and prevents efficiency. So having the option of both open space and separate offices provides the full range of options which can be easily introduced with new partition walls.

For example one of my clients, took over a set of offices and had various walls moved, so instead of it having two small offices, one without a window, they created one large office for the MD and a really good sized store room which they needed for long term storage of customer files. They then took out another wall and made a good size open plan office space and rearranged another wall to create a board come conference room. Also access to the little kitchen was changed to be more convenient. The choice of subtle colours on the walls and new vertical blinds caused the whole suite of rooms to be transformed into a pleasant and airy working area. Where there is plenty of ceiling height the introduction of a Mezzanine floor generates valuable areas perhaps for storage, private meeting rooms or extra offices.

Other concerns in workspace planning, is the situation of facilities such as kitchen, toilets, relaxation areas and outside space if available. Sometimes the introduction of a simple partition can create a relaxation/dining area without losing too much of the work area.

All Health and Safety regulations are paramount they have to be adhered to in the workplace and must be incorporated into any plan along with full fire regulations.

Conclusion

Many companies may feel that upgrading the facilities is a ‘nice to have’ idea and the reality is that it usually comes at the bottom of the list on money allocation. However this is erroneous thinking; office refurbishment is never a waste of time or money. Creating a pleasant office environment by upgrading worn out or old fashioned surroundings and furnishings will make a big difference to the working life of the employees. Improved working conditions may be only part of the picture in achieving real job satisfaction, but it is a good start in the right direction. It also says a lot about what the senior people in the organisation think about their employees. If they ensure that their staff are given the necessary equipment and facilities to do their job effectively then the employees will give better service and can be more efficient and there will be a better working environment all around.
