Master Cleanse: The Secrets To Success

Master Cleanse, A 5 Day Experiment

During my research into fasting, I came across the Master Cleanse diet, and I discovered it to be highly regarded in the fasting world. Most recently it was brought into the media’s attention again by Beyonce giving credit to the cleanse for their getting into shape.

After reading the reactions of others on the internet to the cleanse I found it very encouraging and also informative of what it truly takes to complete. I contacted a few people about therr experiences with the master cleanser and some did not get past day 2 or 3 which appears to be where most stumble. I’ve fasted in the past and never could last without eating at all as most fasts require. This lemon juice cleanse at least allows some nourishment (the drink used for cleansing which uses lemons is why it is also known as the lemonade diet.)

The Master Cleanse follows a simple routine, however it isn’t exactly easy. Though the guidelines are few, the will power necessary to succeed is another thing altogether. Though I found a great book that gives lots of tips & advice to make the cayenne pepper diet much, much easier.

One thing touted is the weight loss from the diet but that was never my main concern. I am looking to get the toxin cleansing that it was originally created for. I felt really tired and sluggish lately and enough people have told me how much better they feel after a fast that I went for it once more.

The original book states to spend 10 days on the cleansing program, though I’ve heard of people staying on it longer. Like 20+ days long.. I had no intention of going longer than 5 days as a trial run to see how I reacted. Having never gotten past 48 hours in the past I am proud of my trial.

With the secrets book as my guide I was able to look up issues and find answers to questions that enabled me to stick with it. Knowing it was there with answers gave me a lot more confidence going into the cleanse. The extra confidence surely led to my success.

Another good thing was the timing was perfect as I had recently spoken with my doctor about fasting. I strongly urge anyone interested in trying any kind of fast to speak with their doctor first to make sure everything is OK before diving in.

The final verdict: I feel much better after the 5 days and I am considering doing it again. Next time I will shoot for the full ten days. One tip I can give you is to not jump right back into your old diet, especially if you have a bad McDonald’s habit. You will get excellent guidance on how best to handle that.)
